This is Part 2 of 3 in our new thank you cards bonus tip series.
Remember, handwritten thank you cards are always best. Emails aren't as personal.
This week's tip will help you edit your card before you finalize it.
LISTEN TO YOUR WORDS
The best way to check your card is to hear what it says.
Read your card out loud so that you can actually hear what's being said.
This will help you catch any grammatical errors or sentences that don't quite make sense.
You can also read it out loud to someone else, or have someone else read it out loud to you to listen for mistakes.
Sometimes we're too close to our own thoughts to catch those errors.
Open the draft you wrote in your phone, and read it out loud to see if it sounds conversational. Then check out Part 3 of 4 to learn how to quickly send your cards.
