​After signing with JTA Talent Agency in 2016, Spurgeon booked commercials with popular brands such as Audi, Harris Teeter, and Fortnite: Nintendo Switch.

She transitioned from stage to screen with coaching from Lon Bumgarner and Marilyn Carter at the Film Actors' Studio (FAST Charlotte). 

Spurgeon's current goal is to book ten U/5 television roles now that she's getting requested by reputable casting directors. She's also filmed a handful of shorts that are touring festivals and winning awards.
